Creating interesting, fun and up-to-date activities for cool young people.

In today's modern and all-digital era, young people often don't like scouting activities. it can be said that scouting activities that they feel are less interesting and challenging for the needs of today's young people. Scout activities that are often known by young people are only building tents, walking along rivers, singing and clapping. when in fact there are many interesting activities that young people can do, especially when they become Rover Ranger Scout and Senior Rover Senior Ranger Scout.

As young members of the scout movement we can create interesting activities for ourselves and of course also contemporary. Scout members must have creativity to make activities. Some of the interesting and fun and contemporary activities that we can do, for example, are playing in nature happily. Some examples of interesting activities include:

1. Orienteering activities.
Orienteering is the sport of finding a number of locations in real terrain using a map and compass, the location points in orienteering are called control points. The perpetrator or participant of orienteering is called an orienteer.

2. Play Archery
Archery is an activity using a bow to shoot arrows. Archery games can also be packaged in various forms. including jemparingan (archery in a sitting position), with target archery (ordinary archery), tag archery (can be played in teams). For Example Archery Tag :

3. Paddle
Rowing is a sport that uses paddles and takes place over rivers, lakes, and the sea. In the technique of rowing with oars, there are only two types of paddles, namely forward paddles and backward paddles.

4. Boomerang
Boomerang is a throwing weapon typical of the Aboriginal tribes of Australia used for hunting. While weapons like the Throwing Stick are also known to be made by other cultures around the world, most people associate the boomerang with Australia because of its historical consistency and variety of examples. This activity is fun for young people, especially the boomerang tool that we can easily make ourselves.

5. Abseiling
Abseiling also known as rappelling is a controlled descent or ascending of a vertical drop, such as a rock face, using a rope.
During the current covid pandemic, where there are so many limitations that can be done. we can still make activities that are interesting, fun, and up to date. One of which we can see in the jamboree on the internet. we can still do camp-style activities online, through joticampsite.
Young people were invited to explore our map and join a series of dialogues, games, live shows, challenges and talent shows while connecting with other Scouts around the world. All activities and sessions are still accessible as recordings on the campite.

There are many more interesting, fun, and contemporary activities that can be done, which I describe are just a examples. Steps to create interesting, fun, and contemporary activities:
1. Find as many references as possible
2. Learn Case Studies from Past Events
3. Creating an initial concept
4. Remove Unnecessary Elements
5. Menyusun Tim yang Kompeten
6. Brainstorming with Team
7. Event Concept Review
